Hi Folks got to agree with Roman C his review done, Nov 6 2017. And in the words of Tina Turner “Simply The Best Better than all the rest”.  The very reasonably priced 22 Fire 4-14 x40 BDC has to be best in its class. One would confidently purchase a Tract Optics product again

Well, what can I say?  This is the second TRACT scope I have bought.  The quality of these scopes for the price is just unbelievable.  In my mind, you will have to pay about double elsewhere to equal TRACT quality.  I put this one on a .22 Magnum Savage, and was zeroed and ready in just a few minutes.  And, with the Impact Ballistics app on the website, it is pretty much dead on what the app shows.  I will be buying more TRACT scopes in the future and recommend them to all my friends and relatives.  I wish TRACT a VERY successful future - you deserve it!!!

Would this scope work on a spring piston air rifle with its' "double recoil"? I am aware that scopes that will withstand a lifetime of the reward recoil of even the heaviest centerfire magnums can fail after only a few rounds on a spring piston air rifle since the lenses are not supported to withstand the forward recoil of the piston.

Answer

While we have not tested the 22 FIRE on a spring piston air rifle, we do have several customers who have purchased the 22 FIRE for this purpose and have not mentioned any issues. Regardless, all of our products carry a Lifetime Warranty. Should you… Read More

Would this be a good scope for the Ruger 10/22 Takedown or is it too much scope

Answer

There is no reason that the 4-12x40 would not work well with the Ruger 10/22 Takedown, but personally since the idea of the Takedown model is to keep things compact, I would choose the 3-9x40 model as it is shorter in overall length and lighter weight. Read More

Hi Jon: How does the size of the wire on your .22 Fire series compare with the fine duplex on any of the Leupold rimfire scopes?

The center crosshair of the 22 FIRE subtends .25 inches at 100 yards on the highest magnification. You would have to check Leupold's specifications to determine their subtensions in order to make a direct comparison as this information does not appear to be listed on… Read More
